Our opportunity As Senior Manager, Projects & Operations, you will be responsible for leading and embedding systems and processes within the Asset Management business in alignment with our strategy.
The Senior Manager is accountable for driving operational excellence and employee experience whilst leading a team to execute on project deliverables.
You will be required to manage a wide range of key stakeholders and provide a consistent service offering across the Asset Management platform.
This role requires an individual with a high level of attention to detail whilst delivering within tight timeframes, ensuring business productivity, efficiency and governance.
Your responsibilities will include: Accountable for overseeing the Mirvac Next Asset Management operating platform including triaging, training, business partnering with appropriate resourcing as it relates to leads, deal and property management.
Embed the Mirvac Next operating Platform across the Asset Management business through hypercare to stabilisation and BAU with focus on change management.
Provide strategic direction for initiatives established through the continuous improvement framework, ensuring projects align with business priorities including managing the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, learning library and frameworks.
Manage internal stakeholder relationships through: regular, effective communication; ensuring appropriate training is provided; ensuring sound documentation is established to facilitate in-depth understanding over systems, process and individual responsibilities and meet compliance and governance requirements.
Ensure an adequate cross section of business SME support / participation in initiatives to ensure the output is suitable for the end user.
Oversee and deliver messaging from the Strategy & Operations team back to the business.
Provide a consistent framework and the required tools to deliver outcomes.
Review and validate business cases for the inclusion for the continuous improvement framework.
Develop, implement and oversee procedures and policies to ensure all processes are fully documented and compliant with company policies.
Provide input into the Group and Asset Management strategy setting process including quarterly review and updates.
Cultivate an ongoing change management culture and drive strong engagement with all key stakeholders in line with the Mirvac Values, including mentoring and coaching contributors.
Drive cross business collaboration to ensure standardised process, procedures and system adoption and usage to maximise efficiencies, information sharing and an integrated approach to operational expertise, ensuring business and customer solutions are embedded into and are driving portfolio outcomes.
Drive engagement with business stakeholders to ensure teams have the appropriate tools to drive active asset management, operational excellence and employee experience across the Asset Management business.
Contribute to a culture of accountability and high performance, acting as an ambassador for Mirvac's values, ensuring strong levels of engagement, retention and cross-business collaboration.
Plan and develop operational changes, policies and procedures to increase operational effectiveness and business improvements.
Provide support to the business by assisting Senior Management with the development and implementation of strategic business plans and projects.
Your point of difference Relevant tertiary level qualifications.
10+ years in relevant business administration, process management, or operations (preference in Real Estate Industry).
5+ years of leading teams.
Ability to manage and lead a high performance and outcomes-oriented team of professionals.
A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to solve problems, improve system and procedural efficiency and effectiveness, and resolve issues as they arise.
Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexity.
Exceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent self-presentation and a calm, professional and mature attitude.
Working collaboratively within the Integrated Investment Portfolio Division and across Mirvac Group, and sharing learnings with employees and leveraging their experience.
An excellent presentation and communication skills.
A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
