About the Role
Reporting to:
Engineering Manager
As the subject matter expert for the structural engineering department, you will oversee projects from concept to commissioning. Your expertise in detailed engineering design and 3D modeling for heavy industrial brownfield assets, along with your ability to nurture and lead engineering teams, will ensure success in this pivotal role.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small team
Oversee projects from initial concept through to commissioning.
Deliver detailed engineering designs for material handling, bulk export, and port facilities.
Demonstrate proficiency in FEA and adaptability to various software and IT platforms.
Qualifications
RPEQ or Chartered Structural Design Engineer
Must have hands on design skill on Brown Field heavy industrial projects
Required Skills
Proficiency in Space Gass, Ansys, and Strand7.
Experience in leading a small team.
