This is a fantastic base from which to explore the many treasures of the surrounding region, including historic townships, natural wonders, beautiful coastlines, and the famous Snowy Mountains.
The Facility:The new $77 million, 265-bed multi-discipline facility opened in 2017, providing state-of-the-art facilities for the communities of Australia's capital city.
It services over 11,000 people in what is a public/private facility.
The Role:The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology provides a consultative service and is supported by a level 4 neonatal unit and an 8-bed intensive care unit.
The maternity unit houses the birthing suite and all inpatient maternity patients for the region, with approximately 1500 births annually.
The Paediatrics department provides a consultative service supported by inpatient and outpatient services, as well as outreach services located at regional centres.
Your Profile:To be suitable for this role, you will need to hold the FRANZCOG or SIMG with RANZCOG outcome or interview date and have or be eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA.
