Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead E&I Engineer to join our Brisbane team.
In this pivotal role, you will lead electrical and instrumentation engineering efforts on a variety of oil and gas projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical and instrumentation systems for oil and gas facilities.Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all engineering activities.Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimations for E&I projects.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of E&I systems into overall project designs.Review and approve engineering deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and reports.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on electrical and instrumentation engineering.Proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams and projects.Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, AS/NZS).Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.Your application will include the following questions:
