This role will see you providing specialist tax advice to a wide range of clients from various industries, ranging from start-ups and small businesses through to ASX listed companies. This role also has a unique opportunity to be involved in delivering tax training and mentoring the broader Accounting division. You will be supported in this role by our Director of Tax Advisory and will have plenty of opportunities for learning and development.What we offer? A dynamic role which includes both tax advisory and tax training/mentoring. Work across all areas of tax, including income tax, indirect taxes, employment tax, and international tax. Work across a large range of industries and client types including start-ups, construction, cross-border transactions, ASX listed companies, mergers, and acquisitions. Opportunity to be mentored directly by our Director of Tax Advisory. An ongoing commitment to your learning, personal development, and career progression. We want to hear from people who have: 4 years' minimum experience working in a tax advisory or consulting role. Experience preparing tax advice and undertaking tax research is a big advantage. Ability to undertake research of legislation, regulations, and tax ruling/determinations/practice companion guides and understand and apply the results of the research to provide solutions to client tax issues. An undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, and/or Law. Progressing towards a Graduate Diploma of Applied Tax Law or a Masters of Tax (or a desire to do so).
