Occupational and Speech Therapists – (Employment & Contractor positions)
We have multiple opportunities on offer for experienced Occupational and Speech Therapists to join
our growing and dedicated team based at Liverpool.
About Us: Autism Advisory and Support Service (AASS) is a not-for-profit Autism support service which has a
multidisciplinary team of therapists and dedicated staff, servicing the south west Sydney area.
We
are innovative and practical in our approach to providing support and in our work practices.

What we offer: We offer flexible working conditions with the option of employment or contractor opportunities
available (part-time or full-time).
Our contractor model offers: $116.39 per session plus travel. Work life balance based on your availability. Diversity in service delivery model (clinic, individual, group, tele-health, schools). Access to internal staff training and development opportunities. Intake and administrative support provided. Our employment model offers: $70 - $90K per annum pro rata plus attractive Salary Packaging options (up to $15,899 per annum & $2,700 meals and entertainment).
Flexible working conditions (part-time or full-time employment) including a hybrid work model.
Generous leave options (up to 3 weeks of additional leave per year pro rata). Diversity in service delivery model (clinic, individual, group, tele-health, schools). Professional development and networking opportunities including an allocated individual CPD budget and in-house training.
All of our therapists have access to a close-knit supportive work environment and get to work
alongside a talented team of transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary therapists including Occupational
Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Behavioural Support Practitioners and NDIS Support
Coordinators.

About the role: Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct assessments Develop and implement evidence based therapy for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders Work as part of a team dedicated to delivering high quality support to children and young adults and their families Work as part of a transdisciplinary team and be given opportunities to grow with the organisation About you: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology; Current registration with relevant professional body (AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia); Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in the field and/or with paediatric case load; Previous experience working with sensory issues in children and young adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorder would be desirable; Current driver licence and access to a fully insured vehicle; NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and Provide First Aid Certification; A team player with a "can do" attitude; Self-sufficient, able to take ownership of the role and high level of organisational and time management skills; Clear open and transparent communicator with proven ability to develop rapport with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds; Celebrate success, strive for excellence and continuous improvement.
