We are on the hunt for the next IT Security Engineer to join our IT team as our.
About your role Responsible for End User Security and Defender Administration, ensuring the security and integrity of the End User Computing environment.
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, monitoring and reporting on cyber campaigns, and maintaining proper documentation across IT record platforms.
Oversight of security permissions within RPF document repositories to ensure restricted access and compliance with security protocols.
Day to Day Support of the IT BAU environment will also be performed as required.
Ensuring security and permissions are maintained throughout the user lifecycle.
Maintain and record adequate information in the IT Ticketing system.
Performing Day to day operational activities such as data & record maintenance, assisting in the organisation of IT areas, shipping and receiving IT equipment.

Defender Suite - configuration and maintenance IT Security Awareness KnowBe4 Phishing Campaign Suite and Administration Endpoint Manager – Intune MDM Security configuration Monitoring and Maintaining of Security Policies in the MS Environment Entra (Advanced Security Knowledge, Identity & Access Management & Information Protection) SharePoint – setup and maintenance Teams - inclusive of Teams Calling Knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, IPSec, NAT, VPN, TLS and other network protocols Advanced troubleshooting of Windows Servers Advanced troubleshooting of Windows Desktop, 10 & 11 Advanced Understanding of Incident/Service/Problem and Change Management Experiencing in Vendor management including raising Purchase Orders and receiving Invoices Excellent stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), high-level interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
A strong team player, ready to be part of our pack, working collaboratively and cross-functionally.
You will need to have a go-getter and proactive mindset looking to make a genuine difference.
FMCG/Grocery experience is critical and exposure to the pet food category would be advantageous.
Proficient with Office 365 Suite.
Bachelors Degree, IT Diploma or equivalent professional experience, ITIL Certification, Azure Fundamentals.
