Overview: Our client is a name brand Australian business who have embarked on a significant growth trajectory in their market.
Headquartered in stunning offices in Brisbane's CBD, this organisation has a large finance team which have rarely seen turnover (except for many new recruits due to expansion).
This client has a people first approach with a genuinely excellent team culture, this role will be supported from day one by a passionate mentor with a view to professionally grow with the business long term.
The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, this newly created role is perfectly suited to an ambitious and recently qualified CA/CPA with a keen interest in business partnering and engaging with operations stakeholders.
Joining their high performing finance team, this is a critical role in the finance structure which will support a key portfolio of the business, and tasked with delivery of financial reporting, management accounting, financial analysis and commentary on performance/risks.
ResponsibilitiesDelivery of month end close and year end reporting processes for the portfolio.Delivery of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and commentary to key business stakeholders.Assist with the management of transactional accounting processes (AP/AR).Support business growth through seeking improvements & solutions to finance systems, processes, and controls.Assist in future ERP implementation.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will bring CA or CPA qualification, with recent experience in either public practice (Audit, Tax, Business Services) or in a large corporate finance structure (as a Financial/Management Accountant).
