ICON people have a mission to succeed and a passion that ensures what we do, we do well.In this role, you will be part of our Strategic Solutions Division and be directly partnering with one of our top pharmaceutical sponsors with the support of ICON right behind you.CURRENT VACANCY:This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting embedded sponsor team as CRA II / Senior CRA in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
The CRA will assist to fulfill monitoring and site management activities and obligations in relation to clinical studies within a broad range of therapeutic areas (except Oncology) and Phases.Key Responsibilities:Be involved in a range of clinical activities from study start through to close outEnsure that all activities are in compliance with SOP, ICH-GCP, local and global laws, regulations and guidelinesEnsure all business is conducted professionally in compliance with company policies and proceduresLiaise with internal and external parties, locally and globallyBuild and maintain solid and long-term professional relationships with investigators and site staffMentor new CRAs, as neededWhy apply?The sponsor provides a wealth of support and a nurturing environmentThere is a fantastic company culture for all employees in the team and they often have regular team building events including all expenses paid holidays and team dinnersExcellent work life balance with increased remote monitoring and longer on-site monitoring frequencies.There is a strong pipeline of studies and they utilize cutting edge ways of working (an example is adopting risk-based monitoring for the majority of their studies)Studies are across many different therapeutic areas (outside of oncology) which allows you to gain good exposure and can open up future career optionsExperience RequiredBased in Sydney, Melbourne or BrisbaneYou will have a minimum of 2 years of independent monitoring experience in Australia or New ZealandExcellent communication skills and a willingness to be part of the social cultureAbility to work well as part of a teamWhat ICON can offer you:Our success depends on the quality of our people.
