Job Title: Operations ManagerType: Full timeSalary: Attractive Salary + Super + Employee BenefitsWe're looking for a passionate Operations Manager to join our team Be part of one of Australia's largest privately-owned transport and logistics companies as you lead and direct our operations team If you're ready to lead a dynamic team, we want to hear from youPermanent full time position based in our well-established Perth Airport DepotOne of Australia's largest privately owned Transport and Logistics CompaniesClose-knit team with supportive management and career development within the companyAttractive team benefits, stability, and exciting national growth opportunitiesCareer development with extraordinary opportunities on a national scaleDiscounts on one of Australia's largest health insurance companiesFast-growing organisation, with excellent training, progression, and supportTasks & Responsibilities:Provide leadership, development, and guidance to a diverse range of areas within OperationsLead and direct Depot, Yard, Dock, Warehousing, Data Entry, and Manifesting Teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and operational success in Perth.Drive excellence in customer service through prioritizing safety, fostering a positive people and culture environment, optimizing operations, managing finances, and ensuring compliance.Work within the Perth Operations Budget to meet the Operations West financial target, achieving a business profit result.Ensure safe, cost-efficient, and reliable distribution of customer freight, with optimal utilization of company assets and minimal costs.Be accountable for the overall performance and success of the business unit, maintaining high standards in operations and achieving operational plan goals in the West region.Skills & Experience:5 years + experience in Line Haul / Heavy Haulage / Oversize Perth / Supply Chain operations and people managementEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, other departments, and external stakeholdersTertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Business Management / or other relevant discipline, or extensive Perth Industry experienceStrong leadership abilities to oversee and guide a team of operators, dispatchers, and other personnelA deep understanding of regulations, compliance, and safety standardsFamiliarity with transportation management systems (TMS), routing software, and other relevant toolsWhy Join Centurion?Centurion is one of Australia's largest independently owned and operated logistics (3PL) and transport companies.
