About the Role St Joseph's Catholic Primary School has an exciting opportunity for Teacher's Aide to join the team on a temporary basis in 2025.
These roles will be part-time, with hours that may vary slightly depending on students' needs.
The Teacher's Aide will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality instruction to students in a Catholic School setting.
The role will involve :
Providing in-class support for teachers and their EAL / D students with learning needsSupporting and supervising students with additional learning needs in and out of the classroom environmentFacilitating the remedial reading program (MacqLit)Assisting with data collection and maintenance for legislative compliance (NCCD)Administrative tasks in support of NCCD and disability provisionsInput into the planning and implementation of Personal Learning PlansCollaborating with classroom teachers to ensure the inclusion of all EAL / D students in all learning experiencesApplying appropriate behaviour management strategies that contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive learning environmentAbout You We are looking for someone who is able to address the following selection criteria :
