Supply Chain Manager

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time The main objective of the Supply Chain Manager is to develop and manage all elements of the Safran Electronics and Defense Australasia supply chain process including procurement and purchasing whilst also setting and maintaining relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE: Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or related discipline.Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain management.Skills and experience working with ERP systems.Experience in processes under Quality Standards AS/NZS9001, AS/NZS9110, and AS/NZS14001 framework.Familiarity with current Defence Australian Industry Capability (AIC) policy requirements.Must be able to comprehend legal documents.PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Department of Defence security clearance to Baseline.Established good working relationships with ADF organisations or local industry.Customer focused with strong interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and highly organised.Strong written and oral communication skills.Proactive, Autonomous, Rigorous.Interest in advanced technologies.Strong work ethic.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Oversee and manage the SEDA supply chain operations.Develop and identify supply chain functions to ensure targets are met and opportunities are identified, that are aligned with SED's strategy.Perform supply risk audits and monitor local supply performance.Proactively develop key business partner relationships with local suppliers.Oversee the logistics and supply support plan.Responsible for the active management of Safran Electronics & Defense Australasia Export Controls compliance activities in relation to US Regulations (International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).Maintaining the Export Controls Permit register and Export and/or Import permit applications.Assess Australian Industry Involvement (AII) tender returns for the Tender Evaluation process.Assist in developing Australian Industry Capability (AIC) plan and reporting to provide solutions in enabling local supply chain network.Perform general periodic supply chain audits and analysis.Manage all people aspects of the department including recruitment, performance management, professional development, and support to individuals within the department.And any other duties as defined by SEDA management.All tasks listed above shall be performed in accordance with Quality Standards and applicable processes in place at Safran Electronics and Defense Australasia.
GENERAL: Be responsible and accountable to act in such a manner that does not place themselves and or any other person's health and safety at risk.Consult and cooperate with management in meeting WH&S obligations.The employee may be required to work outside usual office hours from time to time to fulfil their performance.The ability and willingness to be flexible with hours will be taken into account when remuneration is reviewed.From time to time as dictated by job requirement be prepared to undertake travel internationally or domestically, wherever required for both short and extended periods (up to a maximum of one month at any one time).The requirements of the role may change from time to time and will be reviewed with the employee as required.ACRONYMS / ABBREVIATIONS:
