Exciting Permanent Full-Time role located in Brisbane (Herston) RBWH | You will take a lead role in areas within the department, including staff training, staff education, documentation of process within the department, quality monitoring and improvement and, advanced instrumentation trouble shooting.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
• Demonstrated ability to analyse, design and document efficient integrated end-to-end business processes.
• High level knowledge of and experience in providing management advice with respect to, standards.
(ISO 9001, AS/ISO 15189, ISO/IEC 17025, NPAAC), QIS and the Quality Management Framework.
• Demonstrated audit experience including ability to co-ordinate, perform, report, and respond to complex
regulatory compliance audits across chemical pathology.
• Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including report preparation, the ability
to negotiate, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability and proven success in contributing to building and sustaining continual process.

About Queensland Public Health and Scientific Services (QPHaSS)
Under the leadership of the Deputy Director General, QPHaSS brings together the medical specialties of pathology and forensic medicine, scientific testing, key system support functions and the surveillance, prevention and control of communicable diseases and public health risks in Queensland.
