About the role In your new role of Hatchery Assistant, you will support the team in:
Assist with the daily operations of the hatchery, including egg handling, incubation, and chick processing.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the hatchery.
Monitor and record data related to hatchery operations.
Support the team in ensuring optimal conditions for egg hatching and chick development.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
About you As a hatchery assistant, you will contribute to the efficient operations and high standards of Baiada Hatchery.
In addition, you will bring:
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong mindfulness and commitment to quality.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
