Who we are looking for:
We are looking for the Core Operations Associate 1 position within Asia Pacific Global delivery, specifically in the Fund Order Services unit located in Sydney. We are an end-to-end processing team that covers security price updates, security transactions, corporate action processes, and client customized accounting report generation and delivery.

The team you will be joining is part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS provides asset owners and managers access to essential financial tools needed for effective investment solutions. Our services range from core custody, accounting, fund administration, and shareholder recordkeeping to complete operations solutions for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity, and real estate. Institutional investors rely on us to help manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability. You will help us build resilience and execute daily deliverables at our best.

What you will be responsible for:
As a Fund Order Services (Unit Dealing) Associate 1, you will:
Build an understanding of existing mutual fund trading infrastructure and business processes.
Work autonomously with confidence in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.
Build relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups.
Assist the senior associate in completing basic research and resolving inquiries for clients, trading partners, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure all team deliverables are met within assigned deadlines, document and update procedures and team checklists, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Assist with client reporting and client projects.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
