Pharmacy Assistant Advanced - Team LeaderPermanent full time opportunity providing specialised Pharmacy support services, professional leadership and operational management to the Pharmacy Assistant work unit within Redcliffe Hospital.
To contribute to patient care by demonstrating leadership and providing advanced support to Pharmacists, under the direct or indirect supervision, in the delivery of an efficient and effective medicines management service.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Prepare, distribute and dispense pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a Pharmacist, operating within the limitations and boundaries of the role according to current legislative requirements.Demonstrate highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise and supervise effectively, with an understanding of own scope of practice in a complex and demanding work environment.Manage activities including staff allocation, rostering, prioritising work, and coordinating the work of others.High level leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills including the ability to contribute to, and influence, the strategic environment and intent of the service.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
