Our client is part of one of the largest global broking platforms, this multi disciplinary agency are currently searching for experienced Underwriters to join the construction arm of the business.
Based close to Melbourne CBD, this opportunity would suit ambitious underwriters, who are looking to cement their career and gain professional advancement
The role
Day to day construction product underwriting within limitations of company policy and in accordance with underwriting Australian standards Ensuring all documentations are accurate Work with other stakeholders to maximise underwriting opportunities, minimise expenses and achieve operations and service targets Maintain and develop key broker relationships and maintain exceptional customer service Process and document issuance of new business, renewals and endorsements ensuring all interactions are performed in an efficient & effective manner Contribute and execute of Underwriting Strategy Support the leadership team with mentoring junior team members
About you
To be considered for this role you will require: -
Tier 2 accreditation Prior Australian underwriting experience in Construction, Property, Risk OR Liability Exceptional all-round relationship building, time management and communication skills If you have 3 + years' experience in Construction Underwriting (Or similar specialist products) you may be fast tracked to interview You must be driven and have the drive to grow alongside an ambitious business
