Job DescriptionJoin the team redefining how the world experiences design.Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub in San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations.
This will be an onsite role based out of our San Francisco office.What you'd be doing in this roleAs part of the Vibe team, the Workplace Experience Coordinator will help curate a warm and welcoming environment in our new San Francisco campus, empowering Canvanauts to do the best work of their lives.
Your day-to-day includes providing on-the-ground operational support, being the first point of contact in our San Francisco campus, and making Canvanauts feel welcome in our brand new spaceAt the moment, this role is focused on:Act as Canva's first point of contact, ensuring Canvanauts and visitors feel welcomed and supported.
This includes owning our Mail and Deliveries program, Guest Check-In and Front Desk Operations.Flex your creative muscle by organizing impactful events that span peak moments, company celebrations, wellness initiatives and more
This role will also own the creation and distribution of our US Canvazine - Canva's monthly e-zine for employees.Be a key player in day-to-day functions: Office Supplies, F&B Program and perform general administrative tasks, manage internal communication Slack channels, and handle last-minute requests and issues as they arise.Perform weekly facility inspections to ensure a safe and compliant workplace environment.
Identifies any health and safety hazards, maintenance and repair issues and takes appropriate action to remedy findings.
Escalates as needed.Perform the necessary task(s) to satisfy general office inquiries and maintenance requests, and work with cross-functional teams to address larger needs and suggest any changes needed.Manage multiple projects simultaneously and jump in where needed.Play a role in the employee lifecycle, including on and off boarding, internal events and workplace experience initiatives.You're probably a match if2+ years office management, workplace experience or similar.Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.Excellent problem solving skills, with an ability to recognize opportunities and develop ways of addressing them.Passion for building and maintaining a tight-knit community within the workplace.Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to take ownership of multiple projects, competing priorities and constantly re-prioritizing in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Ability to lift 25+ lbs.Accountable, resourceful and proactive.Experience with managing large-scale projects.Experience managing multiple vendors.Experience with facilities, events and vendor management is a big plus.Experience with our tools: Canva, Slack, G-suite, Envoy.About the teamAs one of the first Vibe hires in San Francisco, you will be joining a small but mighty team who are passionate about the employee experience and its mission to create environments that cultivate Canva's culture and inspire us all to do the best work of our lives.What's in it for you?Here's a taste of what's on offer:Equity packages - we want our success to be yours too.Health benefits plans to support you and your wellbeing.401(k) retirement plan with company contribution.Inclusive parental leave policy that supports all parents & carers.An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellbeing, social connection, office setup & more.Flexible leave options that empower you to be a force for good, take time to recharge and supports you personally.Check out lifeatcanva.com for more info.At Canva we value fairness, and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation whilst ensuring internal equity within the team in each region.
The target salary range for this position is $76,000 to $113,000.
