The Opportunity As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading clients through their technological transformation journeys, ensuring exceptional service delivery while advancing the MSP's technical vision and fostering innovation.
You will oversee the end-to-end management of assigned IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
This includes managing project timelines, client engagement, budgets, and scope of work to consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
In this role, you will collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive IT systems management and support for clients.
You will also ensure technical solutions align with industry best practices and client-specific requirements, delivering reliable and future-ready outcomes.
Your ability to balance technical expertise with clear and effective communication is pivotal to maintaining seamless collaboration in a dynamic and compact team environment.
Responsibilities: Client-Focused Leadership:Collaborate with clients to understand their technology needs and objectives, delivering tailored solutions.Provide hands-on technical expertise to implement IT solutions that align with client goals.Support the development of IT roadmaps, focusing on operational improvements and scalability.Project Execution:Execute high-impact projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations, Intune rollouts, and SharePoint integrations with precision and efficiency.Configure and deploy Modern Workplace environments, including hybrid and cloud-native solutions.Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.Perform deployment and configuration of network infrastructures, including switches, routers, firewalls, and on-premises servers.Ensure robust implementation of advanced security protocols, meeting compliance and security requirements.Technical Implementation:Actively participate in the hands-on execution of technical deployments and configurations.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.Assist in the design and implementation of secure and efficient network architectures.Maintain proficiency in emerging technologies relevant to the role.Training & Knowledge Sharing:Share expertise with team members to support skill development and collaborative problem-solving.Document processes and configurations to ensure knowledge retention and accessibility.Act as a technical escalation point during project work, resolving complex technical challenges.Provide advanced troubleshooting for issues related to network performance, server operations, and firewall configurations.General Responsibilities:Stay up-to-date with current technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure high-quality project delivery.Maintain detailed documentation of projects, configurations, and client environments.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery processes.Perform other duties as assigned, directly contributing to project success.Key Qualifications: Proven hands-on experience in deploying and managing network infrastructures, including switches, routers, and firewalls.Strong expertise in configuring and maintaining on-premises and hybrid server environments.Proficiency in implementing and managing Microsoft 365, Intune, and SharePoint.Solid understanding of security practices, including firewall configurations and endpoint protection.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on technical implementation.Relevant certifications are highly desirable, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.A valid driving license is required and access to your own vehicle.
