About the role:
The purpose of a Senior Commercial Analyst is to pioneer innovative business solutions that boost efficiency, drive ROI, and shape the future of pharmacy, while building strong stakeholder relationships and optimizing processes to enhance profitability and speed to market.
Role & Responsibilities:
Create dynamic reports, dashboards, and presentations in Excel, Dynamics, and Power BI that align business strategy, track performance, and highlight key KPIs.
Design and implement reporting frameworks across teams to supercharge productivity, foster a culture of performance, and drive accountability for business growth.
Ensure data is always spot-on—accurate, reliable, and ready to fuel smart decision-making across the board.
Collaborate with teams to deliver data-driven commercial insights that steer impactful decisions and shape the future.
Build and refine financial models that support our business strategy and keep us ahead of the curve.
Lead the development and maintenance of cutting-edge data sets, analytics, and reporting tools that evolve with industry trends.
Streamline reporting by automating manual tasks and empowering stakeholders to self-serve on routine requests, saving time and boosting efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
Tertiary level qualification in Commerce, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical industry.
5 years minimum experience within a similar role.
Business Intelligence Tools: Extensive experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau for creation of dashboards and business insights reporting.
SQL: Advanced knowledge for querying databases and working with relational databases eg.
SQL Server, MySQL, Vertica.
Data Warehousing: Understanding of ETL processes and working knowledge of Data Dimension Modelling with data warehouses to extract and transform data.
Excel: Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros, and VBA.
