Specialist in Addiction Medicine Multiple Positions The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria's largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, subacute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities.
We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
The purpose of this role is to combine excellence in clinical practice with leadership and thereby strengthen and promote the addiction medicine service at RMH.
The position will provide clinical support and leadership in both the inpatient and outpatient setting at RMH while promoting the hospital and the general medical service by building on its strengths and creating opportunities for superior service.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Addiction Medicine team.
Position 1 - Fractional/Fixed Term for 14hpfn until 30 June 2025
Position 2 - Fractional/Ongoing for 14hpfn from 04 November 2024

Formal Qualifications Required: Must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of AustraliaFAChAM or RANZCP Addiction Certificate (or equivalent)About You: You are an Addiction Medicine Physician or Addiction Psychiatrist passionate about delivering high-quality care to people with substance use disorders.
