With over 18 years of experience, Mining Plus boasts a global team of 90+ professionals across 9 offices in 4 countries, collaborating seamlessly as One Team.About Our Team:Our Australian underground team comprises over a dozen mining professionals, including industry-renowned technical experts. We closely collaborate with our Geology, Open Pit, Define (Corporate Advisory), and Operations teams, as well as our global network of mining professionals, to deliver premium services and innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.About the Role:Every day brings new challenges as you manage projects across various commodities, geographies, and clients—from emerging miners to major industry players. As a Principal Consultant, you'll deliver top-tier consulting services, collaborate with international experts, and lead teams to ensure projects are executed with excellence, within budget, and on schedule.Responsibilities Include:Provide expert technical advice and oversightConduct mining studies (Scoping, Pre-feasibility & Feasibility)Author and peer-review technical reportsMentor staff and oversee project contractorsDrive business improvements and support business development activitiesPrepare proposals and contractsLead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, working with professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budgetAbout You:Minimum 15+ years of experience in the mining industryProficiency in Mine Planning software (Deswik preferred)Experience in managing technical projects and stakeholders to deliver projectsProven track record in client relationship building and networkingAbility to work independently or within teamsStrong financial management skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesConsulting experience is highly regardedLegal Work Entitlement within AustraliaEmployee Benefits:Collaborate with a global team on diverse projectsPartner with industry professionals renowned for their expertiseEnjoy flexible work optionsAccess to Employee Assistance Program, Parental Leave, and Long Service LeaveInterested in Learning More About Us?
