About the role We're seeking a Senior Expo/React Native Developer to join our development team based in Richmond, Victoria.
This role is crucial in advancing the mobile experience of the BuildPass platform and driving our technological innovations.
You'll be working closely with a passionate team to build and enhance our mobile applications, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex industry challenges.
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in an industry ripe for digital transformation.
Key responsibilities Develop and Maintain Mobile Applications: Build and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Expo and React Native.Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement strategic initiatives and deliver high-quality features.Optimise Performance: Enhance the performance and scalability of our applications to provide a seamless user experience.Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.Technical Leadership: Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning.Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.While extensive experience with our specific tech stack is not required, familiarity or interest in the following technologies would be beneficial:
Expo/React Native: Primary framework for our mobile applications.TypeScript: Used extensively across our codebase.GraphQL: For efficient data fetching and state management.AWS Infrastructure: Understanding of cloud services and deployment.CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with automated build and deployment processes.We value candidates who can quickly adapt and learn new technologies to hit the ground running.
About you This isn't the type of role that requires set years of experience or specific education.
