SportsFit Health & Rehab is looking for a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a sports-focused environment, with the flexibility to choose between employment or contractor arrangements and the potential to transition into a full-time role in the future.About UsLocated in Five Dock, SportsFit Health & Rehab is a leading multidisciplinary clinic specializing in sports rehabilitation and performance.
We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care tailored to active individuals, including athletes, weekend warriors, and those recovering from injury.
Our clinic is equipped with a state-of-the-art private gym and boasts a team of experienced professionals, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists.We have exciting plans for 2025, including the expansion of our current clinic to feature a larger gym and additional treatment rooms, as well as the opening of a brand-new clinic.What We OfferFlexible Work Arrangement: Choose between being an employee with a competitive salary or a contractor arrangement where you take a percentage of your earnings.Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists in a collaborative environment.Client Base: Engage with a diverse clientele, including NDIS clients, Workcover cases, and private patients, with a strong focus on sports rehabilitation.Professional Development: Opportunities to develop your niche and lead in-services or presentations for local gyms and personal trainers.Modern Facilities: Access to a well-equipped gym and the latest technology to support your clients' rehab and performance goals.Growth Opportunities: The potential to transition into a full-time role and grow alongside our expanding clinic network.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver tailored exercise programs to improve functional outcomes and performance for clients of all levels.Manage a caseload that includes chronic conditions, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.Provide high-quality care to NDIS clients, Workcover patients, and private clients.Maintain detailed and accurate client records in accordance with clinic policies.What We're Looking ForQualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Exercise Physiology.Accreditation: ESSA accreditation is essential.Experience: 1+ year preferred, but enthusiastic new grads are encouraged to applySkills: Strong communication skills, a passion for sports and active rehabilitation, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.Desirable: Experience or interest in working with athletes and active individuals.Why Join SportsFit?At SportsFit, we focus on helping active individuals achieve their best, and we deliberately avoid EPC referrals to prioritize sports and performance-based clients.
