Lead Technical Business Analyst · Sydney · Hybrid RemoteAUD 80,000 - 100,000The roleWe are looking for an experienced Lead Technical Business Analyst to join our award-winning team.
Bringing a passion for what you do, you are a technical leader and a people manager.
You are responsible for driving 'what good looks like' when it comes to being a Technical BA at FrankieOne and are accountable for quality coming from the Tech BA Chapter.
You will manage our Tech BAs, supporting their personal development and career journeys.
You will also be hands-on in defining Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and stories within a product team.Your ticket to success:Inspire others: You take great pride in your work, have an eye for detail and inspire others to do the same.
You seek to get the whole team's input, building on their individual strengths and celebrating your shared success.
You are a coach and mentor, proactively supporting and encouraging your team's development.Continuously Improve: You drive continuous improvement across the Tech BA Chapter, working with the team to proactively identify areas that can be improved.
You also work with other Chapters to improve Frankie as a whole.Lead the way: As a senior, you play a significant role in leading the BA discipline across Frankie, proactively supporting practice development.
You coach/mentor junior members of the team, peer-reviewing their work and supporting their development by sharing your knowledge and experience.Passion for the customer: You relate to our customers, facilitating sessions to understand their issues.
Leading discovery, scoping and refinement sessions, you determine business requirements and then translate such into specifications for technical stories and features.Collaborate: You work with internal delivery teams to prioritise work and engage engineers to ensure your assumptions are right and timelines are realistic.
At times, you collaborate across squads.Technical Lens: You understand the technical aspects of new products and feature updates, challenging assumptions and ensuring scope is managed.
You also understand the technical impact features will have on customers and assist in change management activities.Be an advocate: For Frankie, for the product, for our people and for our values.Core SkillsThe core skills we're looking for are:Team ManagementFacilitationAnalytical thinking & Problem-SolvingTechnical DocumentationDetail OrientationComputer systems & function knowledge5+ years of experience in business/technical analysis and design, ideally within financial services and/or a SaaS environmentMentorship/management of other technical BAsWorked in a fast-paced environment within cross-functional teams, balancing priorities with getting things doneBuilt a passion for solving complex problems using simple solutions that are well-thought-out and resilientExperience with agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum and KanbanExperience with solutioning REST interfaces along with implementing complex integrationsSupported end-to-end delivery of features from analysis to productionProven experience across both internal and external business and technical stakeholdersProven ability to define and manage integrations, including RESTful APIs, workflows, and other system architecturesSkilled in creating technical documentation such as Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, implementation guides and process diagramsBuilt strong knowledge of software development processes, procedures, limitations, and challengesHoned your analytical skills and are able to translate complex problems into Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and stories that make senseExposure to complementary skills in development or QA#J-18808-Ljbffr
