We design and construct the largest windfarm in the Southern Hemisphere (Waratah Super BESS) as well as the world's first 'big battery' (Hornsdale Power Reserve).
We are a full EPC who specialise in the in-house design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of the biggest high-voltage infrastructure projects in the industry, such as transmission substations, wind farms, battery storage systems (BESS) and transmission lines.
We hold preferred status with Australia's major transmission network providers and have strong relationships with a number of leading private developers.

The Opportunity In response to the expansion of a new project delivery unit at CPP, we are actively searching for a Principal Engineer specialising in Secondary Design.
As CPP has a dedicated SCADA team, we are seeking an individual who will be responsible for circuity designs, protection schemes, and protection relays for our extra high-voltage substations and overhead lines.
This role combines technical expertise and leadership responsibilities, directing the creation of top-tier designs for secondary high-voltage (HV) systems.
As a key member of our extensive in-house team, consisting of over 140 seasoned Engineers and Designers, you will engage in close collaboration with your colleagues, contributing to the advancement of secondary engineering excellence.
Leveraging your profound experience in High Voltage systems, you will be a pivotal figure within our team, significantly contributing to our various flagship projects here at CPP.
This role has the flexibility to be based in any of our CPP offices in NSW/QLD/VIC or SA.
Relocation assistance is available for those willing to relocate to Australia.
Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent10+ years experience at a senior level with substation design and/or utility grid connectionsLeadership qualities and the ability to mentor othersStrong knowledge of Australian industry standardsHigh-level communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with MiCom, Digsilent, Power Factory, PSSE will be highly regardedWillingness to relocate to the Australian office of your choice - SA, VIC, NSW or QLDWhy Join Us?
