Job Opportunity : Emergency Medicine Consultant
Position : Permanent or Fixed Term, Full-Time and Part-Time Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant seeking an exciting opportunity in Regional Western Australia?
Come be a part of our vibrant regional health campus, a crucial healthcare center in the Goldfields region, dedicated to delivering exceptional emergency care to a diverse community, including a significant number of Aboriginal patients.
About the Role : As an Emergency Medicine Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive clinical services and leading a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to exceptional emergency care.
Your responsibilities will include : Managing over 25,000 annual presentations in the Emergency Department.Leading and supporting teams comprised of Senior Medical Practitioners, Junior Medical Officers, nursing, and administrative staff.Collaborating with organisations such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia.Participating in a rotating roster with three shift options and on-call duties, ensuring continuous coverage for emergency services.This position offers opportunities for career progression, including potential advancement to the Head of Department role for high-performing candidates.

You will be working in the largest outback city providing a welcoming community with a population of over 30,000 and access to diverse recreational opportunities.
