Environment Advisor – Operations and Planning .What you'll do:Implement the Environmental Management System and provide general environmental advice and support for Perth Airport operations and projects.Coordinate site and tenant audits and ensure all actions are closed out, maintaining and improving business-wide standards for environmental management documentation.Engage and influence employee and contractor teams on site regarding environmental risks, hazards, and controls.Oversee environmental surveys, monitoring, research, and studies to support environmental operations.Verify compliance with Perth Airport's legal and environmental obligations and maintain the integrity of monitoring data necessary to demonstrate environmental performance and meet corporate reporting requirements.About you:We require a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or equivalent, with up-to-date knowledge of current legislation relevant to the role.
Experience in developing and maintaining an Environmental Management System, using GIS and environmental databases (ideally Envirosys), and conducting audits and inspections is essential.You should be able to work as part of a team and autonomously, adapting to shifting priorities.
Creative problem-solving skills, high-level written and verbal communication, and the ability to build strong relationships are important.
We expect you to be detail-oriented and enjoy data-driven research.The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the Environment field, with prior exposure to operations & planning business units, and an understanding of working with contaminated sites.
