Board And Legal Support Officer

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Board and Legal Support Officer to provide high-level administrative and confidential support to our Board Secretariat, Legal, and Insurance teams.
In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations and contributing to strategic outcomes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Board Support: Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new Board members.
Manage travel plans, bookings, and finance-related processes for the Board.
Organize meetings, workshops, and events, including logistics and facilities setup.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, papers, and minutes.
Legal Support: Provide professional and confidential administrative assistance to the Legal team.
Manage legal records and documentation, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
Oversee invoicing and payment processes for legal services.
Support statutory and contractual deadlines by arranging formal Service of Documents.
Systems & Process Management: Administer the Diligent Boards system, including user management and meeting documentation.
Maintain and improve internal platforms for the Secretariat and Legal teams.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes for greater efficiency.
About You: Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a legal environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Proficiency in office software and an aptitude for process improvement.
