Covenant Christian School is seeking applications from suitably qualified Mathematics Teachers looking to provide faculty leadership and deliver high-quality teaching to Year 7-12 students.
You will safeguard a distinctly Christian education where a biblical worldview permeates teaching and learning practices and ensures a strong focus on academic rigour.

Ability to teach Maths Extension 1 (essential) and Maths Extension 2 (desirable)
This permanent full-time position commences Term 1, 2025.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for implementing the Vision and Mission of Covenant Christian School within the classroom.
You will coordinate programs of work across this KLA area, ensuring preparation of syllabus content within the context of NESA requirements.
You will deliver curriculum content from a Christian perspective that encourages students to think biblically about this relevant area of study.
You will be supported by our Head of Secondary School (HoSS) and Deputy Principal, with training in curriculum development provided by our Director of Teaching and Learning (DoTaL).
You will implement a child safe culture that promotes positive wellbeing for students.
You will ensure a strong Parent Partnership presence that supports our community.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure a biblical worldview shapes your leadership and teaching practices.
Work collaboratively with Learning Support and Extension staff to provide appropriate support for students.
Participate in and lead Professional Learning activities to enhance your own and your team's teaching practice.
Report any concerns regarding the wellbeing of students to the HoSS.
Lead student assemblies and school events, maintaining a positive uniform culture.
Use technology, where appropriate, to improve teaching and learning processes.
KEY REQUIREMENTS Committed Christian of a reformed evangelical persuasion, actively involved in their local church.
NESA accredited to teach in NSW and suitably qualified as a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher.
Ability to work and contribute to a team.
Good interpersonal and communicative skills.
Commitment to your own professional learning and contributions to the broader Christian Education community.
Able to provide a valid Working with Children Check.
