The role will be managing the development and production of ABC TV's external commissioned slate of Children and Family programs. This Executive Level role will see you deliver distinctive projects that demonstrate value in quality, originality, and diversity to fulfil the strategic aims of the ABC.The JobCreative and Editorial LeadershipManaging the development and production of ABC Children and Family live action, animation and factual content of the highest quality, consistent with the aims of ABC Children and Family. Identifying and developing new entertainment with an emphasis on popular, original, and diverse content across all age groups.Stakeholder ManagementEstablishing and maintaining effective external stakeholder relationships with suppliers, relevant television and film funding organisations, production companies and independent producers, both locally and internationally.Encouraging and maintaining key relationships within the Content division and across the ABC.Position Description: 50061810 COMMISSIONING EDITOR, CHILDREN AND FAMILY.pdfAbout YouThis role will appeal to an accomplished Commissioning Editor who is energetic and thrives in a dynamic fast paced environment. You are passionate about children and family entertainment.You will be creative, decisive, and versatile, possessing the ability to work under pressure and have the experience to manage the development and production of television content of the highest quality.
