Catering Assistant - Trugo Aged Care Home in Newport Make a difference at one of Australia's leading health care providersGenerous salary packaging benefits, ongoing professional development and supportive team environmentCasual and permanent roles availableAbout the role Supports the Chef / Chef Manager and peers in delivering a high quality catering service within the home.
Key Responsibilities: Ensuring the catering service is adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirementsCompleting all appropriate food safety record forms as per legislation requirements.Ensuring that all duties are worked in accordance with the Food Safety Program at all timesEnsuring uniforms, appropriate protective clothing and footwear is worn whilst in the workplace.Follow strategies in the Food Safety Plan to prevent cross contamination from occurring.Prepare daily meals including beverages for residents that meet the special dietary requirements as instructed by the Chef Manager or Chef/Cook.What you bring: Follow Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (Health Care Competencies)Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role in residential care, health care or hospitality sectors.Current valid Australian work rightsKnowledge and experience in safe food handlingA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisationAbout Calvary We are a leading provider of quality, integrated care that puts our patients, residents and clients at the centre of everything we do.
