The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
We are seeking an experienced Outage and Commissioning Coordinator to enable the effective and timely outage and commissioning activities for successful delivery of HumeLink.
The position will collaborate closely with HumeLink's delivery partners, Transgrid's system operations teams, other internal business units and other external stakeholders (e.g.
Essential Energy, SHL, AEMO, etc).
The role will require extensive periods spent on site managing commissioning activities and travel between proposed project offices and new or augmented substations.
About You Tertiary Qualifications or extensive relevant experience in transmission network outagesDemonstrated knowledge of construction within the energy sectorHigh level of technical knowledge in the construction of substation or transmission lineExcellent ability to influence change for the benefit of safe execution of large scale, multi-disciplined, remote transmission, energy and substation projectsExtensive experience in directing project teamsExtensive experience in contract managementExtensive experience in leading highly skilled and technical field teamsEffective communicator within team and with other business unit stakeholdersDelivery focused, with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the project in delivering to a tight scheduleSkilled negotiator able to negotiate win-win outcomes with external partiesSignificant track record working on large infrastructure projectsExperience and skill in prioritising and managing multiple projects/tasksHigh level of written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsAbility to self-manage, work under pressure and work in a team environmentKnowledge of, and prior experience with outage and access submission and managementAbility to prioritise and manage tasks within deadlines and with minimal supervisionWell-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people and build and enhance key relationshipsExperience in commissioning of complex electrical systems is highly desirableRecognition & Reward In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.
