The Drake Group is an iconic Brisbane based company specialising in the manufacture of high quality engineered semi-trailers, low loaders, spare parts, and collectibles. We are looking for Mechanical Fitters to join our growing servicing team in Welshpool, WA. About the role: The Drake Group is currently embarking on an exciting period of transformation and growth and as such, we are now seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team. With over 60 years of combined engineering and manufacturing experience, we create cutting-edge, high-quality products for both local and international markets.
As a motivated Mechanical Fitter that has a passion for working with a team of likeminded trades people, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the servicing of heavy haulage trailers.
5-Day Day Shift:
7am to 3:30pm – Monday to Thursday
7am to 1pm - Friday
Your key responsibilities: Conduct basic fault-finding processes and quality checksPerform mechanical servicingAdhere to safety guidelines and promote a culture of safety within the workshopWhat we are looking for: Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification (or similar)Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumaticsWhat's on offer: Competitive hourly rate, based on experienceWork-life balance and overtime when availableOngoing training and supportSupportive and friendly environmentReady to embark on an exciting journey with The Drake Group?
