About DestecDestec is a proudly Western Australian owned and operated company with a fast-growing client base that provides ore processing and materials handling services to the mining industry across Western Australia. We take pride in innovation through designing, constructing, building, maintaining, and operating our own crushing and screening plants for Tier 1 mining sites.The RoleWe are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated HSE&T Advisor to join our site-based team. As an HSE&T Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering our Work Health and Safety Management Plan and developing, implementing, improving, and providing assurance on our health and safety management system.This hands-on, fast-paced role involves working across health, safety, environment, and training disciplines. You will work an 8-day on, 6-day off roster, dayshift only, and fly in and out of Perth.As a valued member of the team, you will:Deliver and implement the Work Health and Safety Management Plan.Coach operational teams on critical risk management.Conduct in-field verifications to support ongoing operational risk reduction activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver HSE training programs.Support event learning and identify weak signals to improve our HSE management system.Stay current with industry trends and changes in HSE regulations and support compliance across operations.Deliver training programs, including inductions and ongoing competency assessments.Requirements:Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor in the mining industry.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels and internal and external stakeholders.Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.Demonstrable experience in the application of HSE legislation relevant to mining practices.Hold a current and valid driver's licence.Desirable qualifications include:Experience with STEMS or similar online safety management systems.Provide First Aid Certification.Formal auditing qualification.Confined space and working at heights certificates.BenefitsFrequent flyer pointsSalary packaging optionsSuper paid on all hours workedRefer-A-Friend program, earn up to $6K per referralOngoing career development opportunitiesFortnightly pay cycleExcellent camp with a wide range of great facilities.How to ApplyIf you're interested in this role, or would like more information, click Apply Now or email ****** for more information.
