About Us Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.
Our Melbourne office is relocating to a new space in St Kilda and we are looking for a junior/mid-level geotechnical professional to join our busy team.
The role will be both site and office-based with the flexibility to travel when required.
What You'll Need A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree2+ years experience working in a geotechnical consultancy carrying out fieldwork tasksValid full-time working rights in AustraliaWe would prefer someone who is currently Melbourne-based and has experience working with the Victoria geology.Ability to travel when requiredA full Australian driver's licenseA desire to work outside with a love of rocks, soil, and geologyGood interpersonal skillsExceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and writtenWhat You'll Get Additional Day Leave on BirthdayProvision of a minimum of 50 hours Training / CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers Australia / Engineers New ZealandAccess to our 2-year CMW graduate training programOffice social events throughout the yearAbility to earn overtime and/or time in lieuUnfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position and we are looking for a candidate with experience in Australia and/or New Zealand.
