For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at Lytton, and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams.
We are recruiting for motivated and skilled Mechanical Fitters with Rotating Equipment experience, to be part of our team at the Lytton Refinery in Brisbane, Queensland.
This role offers the opportunity to thrive by working collectively and making an active contribution.
Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.
ResponsibilitiesPump alignmentPreservation of rotating and static equipmentDemonstrated experience in pressure testingAsset maintenance backgroundExperience with data assessment, ordering spares and recording (Microsoft Excel).QualificationsPrevious Rotating experience is essentialMust be trade qualified with proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environmentsKnowledge of pumps, valves, vessels, pipework, PSV's etc.Knowledge of Turbines and ancillary equipmentMachine alignment principlesAir compressors and associated ancillary equipmentFlange management, Hydrotesting, Valve and pipe installation experience required.Wood encourages Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.
