Exciting and challenging opportunity to deliver a business technology programTemporary full-time role available up until September 2026 in SydneyClerk Grade 11/12 with a salary range of $145,378 - $168,130 pa plus superannuation and annual leave loadingWe are at the pointy end of industry supervision for the liquor, gaming, wagering, casino and registered club sectors in NSW.

About the role This role is primarily responsible for delivering an at scale technology migration and transition program for the business.
It entails being the lead for the business when engaging with the Government Technology Platform in the discovery, analysis, prioritisation and orchestration of transitioning an entire product line related to licensing platforms for Liquor & Gaming NSW.
This includes a core system and various products, applications, data feeds/APIs, drawing from/to the core licensing system and data migration, including data cleansing.
To ensure the needs of all areas of the business are met, the role is responsible for setting up relevant committees, working groups and forums where regular prioritisation decisions with executives are captured and progress updates, risks, financial reporting is undertaken.
The role is also responsible for putting in the resources and mechanisms to lead change management, overseeing relevant technical and business process documentation and data dictionaries.
Stakeholder engagement and vendor management are a key part of the role; the incumbent will engage with L&GNSW staff (technical SMEs and business teams) as well as internal vendor resources executing the build and migration.

About you Demonstrated experience in orchestrating and managing the delivery of complex multi-part technical programs.Extensive project and program management and resource management experience with multimillion dollar initiatives.Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively, especially with structured problem solving and risk mitigation.Vendor management experience, especially identifying and managing people with combination different skillsets to perform an activity (e.g., BAs, testers, solution architects, data analysts etc.
)- and flagging to executive leadership team when there are gaps.Effecting change management, communication plans, training and cutover plans for large programs of work.It is essential that you have Appointment and ongoing assignment are subject to satisfactorily meeting the integrity standards set out in section 14 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007, including satisfactory participation in mandatory pre-employment and ongoing probity screening, in accordance with relevant legislation and/or related policies.If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
