You will play a key role in delivery of education and training to undergraduate students in nursing As a Clinical Facilitator, your responsibilities will include: Work in partnership with the Education Coordinator and Clinical Nurse Educators to facilitate student professional experience placements Deliver education and support to students across the facility and provide student orientation for each placement Maintain an ongoing communication of student/staff expectation and provide learning that meets the needs of students Facilitate the opportunity for students to study and learn through observation, participation, reflection, skill development, tutorials and seminars.
Essential Criteria: Minimum 3 years' Registered Nursing experience in an acute environment (Medical/Surgical nursing is preferred) Postgraduate studies in clinical education or preceptor course completion is desirable Working with Children check Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work across a rotating roster Sunnybank Private Hospital is a 111 bed facility located on the Southside of Brisbane, offering acute medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services.
