The Maintenance Officer is required to carry out duties related to maintenance and venue set up of College facilities as requested.
MLC is a large, busy school and consequently, this role varies daily and priorities frequently change.
The focus of this role is to enable the College to operate smoothly and calmly, ensuring the environment is conducive to the provision of a quality education for students.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesProviding general maintenance and handyman services to the CollegeAssisting with the setup and pack up of various events, movement of furniture and providing assistance to the MLC gardeners as required.Complete reporting tasks as required by the CollegeBeing alert for safety concerns around the campus and reporting them immediatelyDaily monitoring of the swimming pool chemistry and filtration and reporting to Maintenance Supervisor when issues are detectedAssisting the MLC gardeners as required across the campus The SchoolMLC is a leading independent girls' day and boarding school in the inner east of Melbourne.
