Technical Program Manager, Region ServicesJob ID: 2680663 | Amazon Web Services Australia Pty LtdAmazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Region Services organization and serve as a technical resource, leading the resolution of operational challenges in sensitive and mission-critical clouds.
The TPM will drive large-scale global projects and initiatives, leading cross-functional teams focused on delivering new workflow features and tools that enhance productivity, open capacity at a faster rate, and secure devices to AWS standards.
We are looking for a passionate, deeply technical, and results-oriented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to define and drive Region Services initiatives, with a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with a multi-year roadmap using Agile and incremental delivery methods.If you have a passion for implementing innovative cloud computing solutions and solving complex technical problems, we want to meet you.
Your work will help take AWS into the future by innovating cloud computing solutions and fundamentally transforming the way national security and defense mission agencies partner with industry to meet mission requirements.This position requires that the candidate selected hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance (security/clearances).Key Job ResponsibilitiesMentor, train, and develop career progression for indirect reports and members of the organization (Technicians and Technical Program Managers).Obsess over team learning and development, both from a technical/functional and soft skills (critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and adaptability) perspective.Develop, improve, and share operational best practices across the region and with peers globally.A Day in the LifeGather business requirements, document functional and design specifications, define User Acceptance Criteria for testing software, and ensure systems capture applicable data.Contribute with cross-functional business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, and provide escalation management.Present to Sr.
