Grounds & Maintenance Officer - Leisure Tourist Park & Melaleuca Village

We take pride in creating exceptional moments for our residents and guests while preserving the environment and local culture.We are currently looking for a Casual Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team and work across two locations in our Port Macquarie properties, Leisure Tourist Park and Melaleuca Village. Both properties are adjacent to the Camden River and are an easy stroll to the beach and just moments from the Hastings River, the centre of town, and many fantastic beaches.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting into the Park Manager, you must be able to work autonomously or as part of a team. You will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of our grounds and gardens, as well as general maintenance of our park.You must enjoy working around people and be able to communicate easily and confidently. You will take pride in your appearance, be self-motivated, have an eye for detail, a passion for maintenance, grounds, and gardens, and a willingness to learn and apply learnt knowledge.The position will provide you with variety and a rewarding role.REQUIREMENTSThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in grounds and property maintenance in a hospitality environment; however, this is not essential as training will be provided to the right person.The successful applicant will require a Driver's Licence.You will be competent in the use of items such as:Ride on mowers.Hedge trimmers.Whipper snippers.Chainsaws.High powered hand tools.Assist with other minor maintenance items across our park and accommodation on direction from our Park Manager.If this sounds like you, or someone you know, we'd love to hear from you.
