Personal Assistant to the Head of Senior Campus

Full timeCommencement asapLocated on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, Woodleigh School is an independent, coeducational school comprising two Junior Campuses, Minimbah in Frankston South and Penbank in Moorooduc and a Senior Campus in Langwarrin South.Woodleigh is currently seeking applications for an experienced Personal Assistant to be based at our Senior Campus in Langwarrin South.
Please note, this is a full time position with 5 weeks annual leave, so you will be required to work in some of the school holidays.The Personal Assistant to the Head of Senior Campus is responsible for providing efficient and effective administration, clerical and secretarial support to the Deputy Principal - Head of Senior Campus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Diary, email and telephone managementArranging meetings with staff, students and parentsTyping of correspondence and production of documentsMinuting of meetings and campus administration supportAdministration support for the following groups: Campus Leadership Team, Senior Years Leadership Team, Middle Years Leadership Team, Regenerative Futures Project, and Heads of WellbeingLiaising with enrolments team to support enrolments processCoordination and preparation of campus weekly briefingsNew Metrics, Compassionate Systems, External Professional Development and other key project scheduling supportAssisting with the Reception and administration staff (including cover) as requiredOther duties as requested by the Head of Senior Campus or the PrincipalExperience and SkillsExcellent organisational and time management skillsDemonstrates an ability to work to demanding timelines and to adapt to, and operate effectively in, a dynamic environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with a range of people, including students, parents and the broader communityExercises ownership and concern for quality of work, reflected in attention to detail and accuracyDisplays initiative and enthusiasm - has a high achievement drive and acts in a self-directed wayAccurate record keeping and database management skillsAccurate typing skills and strong typing speedDemonstrated database and computer competency essential (thorough understanding of Microsoft Office suite)Demonstrated document preparation, report writing and presentation skillsExcellent phone manner, proven customer service skills and strong ability to work in interpersonal contextsUnderstanding and support of Woodleigh's philosophySound planning, analytical and conceptual thinking skillsOperates effectively in a team environmentPost-secondary qualifications and/or equivalent experience appropriate to office management/administration or educationPrior experience working in a school settingConditions of EmploymentA Working With Children's Check is required for this positionQualification and First Aid/Anaphylaxis is required for this positionApplications must be made online by
