Environment & Sustainability Consulting (Consulting & Strategy) Full time RED OHMS Group is a leading national consultancy specialising in occupational hygiene, health and safety, environment and hazardous materials services, training, support, and solutions for our clients.
We are a growing vibrant business with a national footprint in hazmat, hygiene and environmental services and deep expertise in training and developing the next generation of hygiene and hazmat specialists.
With offices in Perth, Sydney and Brisbane and through operational presence in key business locations across Australia, we provide specialist advisory and consulting services to clients in resources, oil/gas, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, education, infrastructure, and federal/state/local government sectors.
The Opportunity: The Regional Team Lead role is a newly created role to lead a diverse, qualified and experienced team of hazardous materials specialists in our WA operations.
Reporting to the Managing Director of Operations, the team leader will be a member of the leadership team for WA operations responsible for implementing the business strategy and ensuring that the people and commercial objectives for the unit are achieved.

Having worked in the industry you are an experienced professional with proven experience in:
Implementing business strategy for the unit to achieve planned operational and financial objectivesIdentifying and defining client needs and requirements in order to create effective scope of services to offerDeveloping and executing successful bid management and quotations for delivery of service to clientsPlanning and directing the delivery of projects and services with your team of consultants and techniciansProviding leadership and coaching the performance of the team to achieve their operational objectivesActing as a mentor and champion for their own team to help their professional development and support growth aspirationsLeading client and account management activities to identify and build ongoing business relationshipsLeading and directing improvements in engagement delivery and performanceWorking in interdisciplinary and interdepartmental contexts to identify and execute organisation wide initiatives to improve ways of working.You will bring the following to the role:
10 plus years of relevant experience in hygiene or hazardous materials sector with focus on asbestos.Relevant qualifications and certifications.
Licensed Asbestos Assessor, and BOHS certifications will be highly regarded.Expert knowledge and understanding of the regulatory and commercial contexts covering occupational hygiene and hazardous materials to identify trends and opportunities.High level of attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus on the tasks at hand.Highly organised, able to prioritise a diverse workload and great at planning and directing work activities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.Strong leadership and coaching skills and competence to build and sustain a vibrant, respectful and values aligned work culture.What we offer: There are many aspects of our lives that are important, so we offer benefits to enable your work to enhance your life.
