SRK Consulting is an international independent employee-owned consulting practice, providing integrated consulting services to the resource sector.
We are looking for a talented, motivated and enthusiastic
structural geologist
who has proven experience in the mining and exploration industry, with experience in applied structural geology and is keen to develop their career in this space.
The Role
Professionally, you can expect to be supporting and providing specialised consulting services to our clients both in the office and in the field, locally and internationally.
You will be joining a team that provides services related to exploration targeting, 3D modelling, geotechnical support, resource evaluation, structural and geological mapping, interpretation and analysis of geoscience datasets and technical reporting across a wide range of commodities and projects.

Our successful candidate will be based out of our Perth office.
Our ideal candidate will have:
A degree in geoscience with a postgraduate qualification relating to structural geology
Strong professional experience in applied structural geology including structural analysis of drill core
Fieldwork experience, with a demonstrated ability to collect and analyse structural data
Excellent 3D modelling and interpretations skills, preferably including with Leapfrog
A strong understanding of structural geology principles and their application to mineral systems
Scripting/coding skills (including Python) and exposure to/an interest in machine learning an advantage
Confidence in using different technologies, and the ability to upskill on new systems quickly
Language fluency in English
Excellent written and personal communication skills, including the ability to contribute to high quality technical reports and explain complex geological concepts to non-specialist audiences
Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or existing Working Visa
Willingness to travel (domestic/international and possibly to remote locations)
