Learn more at hexagon.com and follow us @HexagonAB.Purpose of Position:Hexagon Mining in partnership with our client will deploy and operate a world-first fleet of 120 fully Autonomous Road Trains to carry ore 150km to the Port. Hexagon Mining have multiple exciting leadership opportunities for Autonomous Control Supervisor's to join our team full-time in Western Australia on this cutting-edge Autonomous Road Trains project. The Autonomous Control Supervisor's will lead a fly-in-fly-out team ensuring the safe handling and transportation of product, complying with relevant safety regulations and standards. You will be an excellent team player and collaborator sitting on the projects leadership team and critical to its success.Major Areas of Responsibility:This is a leadership position that will be responsible for the ensuring the health, safety and well-being of their teamOperate the autonomous road trains across all areas of the haulage operation including loading, travelling, tipping, refuelling and marshallingManage or assign vehicles for load/unload haulage operations in accordance with the mine planEnsure coordination across teams to guarantee smooth operations across haulage, pit and port operations particularly at handover points for loading and tippingOptimise haulage routes to minimise travel time, fuel consumption and road wearEstablish a continuous improvement approach, identifying and executing initiatives to further optimise haulage operationsProactively monitor and supervise haulage operations to address potential issues or emergenciesProvide real-time tracking and reporting, including progress updates and material movementKnowledge and Experience - Required:Experience in mining operations, with knowledge of daily mine workings or previous operation control room exposureExperience in a mining or heavy industry environment working with Fleet Management (MineStar, Modular Dispatch etc), Mining Safety, Control Systems or other related operational technologyDetailed understanding of mine safety regulations, processes and systemsThe ability to work under pressure and manage competing prioritiesHigh attention to detail and the ability to identify and execute improvements to continuously optimise operationsMust have the right to work in AustraliaKnowledge and Experience - Desired:Proven experience leading a team of fly-in-fly-out resources in a 24/7 operationDispatch experience working with autonomous mobile equipmentTravel:This is a fly-in-fly-out position to Ashburton on an 8/6 & 7/7 roster for a healthy work-life balanceAdditional Information:Position is open to candidates with working rights in AustraliaCompetitive salary and benefits package.Access to Hexagon Mining's state-of-the-art technology and resources.Ongoing opportunities for career growth and professional development.Be part of a prestigious global organization with a focus on innovation and sustainability.Collaborative and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.A diverse range of hands-on challenges, keeping tasks varied and intellectually stimulating.Hexagon is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
