The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen's Wharf Brisbane precinct, will officially open its doors on August 29th, 2024.
Australia's newest entertainment and leisure destination will launch in stages, featuring a range of unique entertainment options, world-class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming, and a state-of-the-art Event centre, transforming how people will play, shop, and socialise in the river city.
The Porter, reporting to the Concierge, is the primary point of contact for our valued guests and visitors.
Your role will be diverse, from delivering luggage to guest rooms and parking or retrieving vehicles, to offering insights on local attractions and events to our guests.
A few of your responsibilities Transport and store luggage as required by guestsEnsure efficient and courteous handling of all guest arrivals and departuresEnsure all guest enquiries and requests are handled professionallyEnsure current familiarity with hotel, including guest rooms, restaurants, bars, convention, and casinoPark and collect guest/patrons' vehicles promptly and without damageWhat we will be looking for A sincere dedication to delivering exceptional customer servicePrior experience in a similar capacityValid driver's licenceExceptional presentation and communication skillsAffinity for the Brisbane area, including knowledge of the local community and its surroundingsAbout You The ideal candidate will have exceptional presentation and communication skills while possessing a vast knowledge of the Brisbane area.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of the Hotels department at The Star Brisbane.

About us The $3.6 billion Queen's Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
When complete, Queen's Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings, and around 1,500 residential apartments.
