About the role - Food Service AssistantYou'll wake up each morning wanting to see people enjoy food as much as you do. Here's what a typical day involves:
Prepping and serving food and drink.Cleaning – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one.Changing up the menu. You'll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual.Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.You'll be a real team player who has:
A real desire to make a difference in people's livesExperience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)Great time management and planning skillsCompleted the Basic Food Handling CourseAbout the role - Cook/Relief ChefHelping create a home residents love, you'll take pride in delivering service standards that are of the highest level. Utilising your exceptional skills and your passion for delivering fresh and wholesome meals, we believe you will fit right in.
As Cook you'll:
Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen managementTailor meals to meet individual needs and preferencesEnsure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious mealsSupport the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experienceYou'll be a real team player who:
Holds a Certificate III in Commercial CookeryHas great communication and documentation skillsHas some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)Has a healthy amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines and dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residentsAs one of the largest and fastest growing aged care providers in Australia, we need exceptional people to join us on our journey of changing the way we offer aged care.
