The team is based in Melbourne.DNV is committed to excelling in the power systems space in Australian and the APAC region.We have the established tools, process and software and a long term commitment to success for our teams.We are working on exciting range of renewables and energy storage connections in the Australian grid as well as supporting client's decision making on power grid infrastructure in Australian and the APAC region.We understand that we are working in a complex environment and looking for committed team members willing to contribute.
In return we offer well-structured development opportunities, interesting work, a great team culture and competitive salary package.What will you be doing?As a Power System Engineer, you will contribute to a wide range of projects in Australia and within the Asia Pacific region:You will be working on complex, unique and rewarding projects such as hybrid renewable projects.You will be joining an established team of power system engineers working collaboratively together.We take great pride in delivering quality results for our customers.We are seeking a candidate experienced in the Australian grid connections process that has experience in completing NER Chapter 5 connection application studies and PSSE and PSCAD software.Minimum Requirements:3+ years of relevant industry experience.Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a related degree.Knowledge of power system engineering and grid integration of inverter energy systems within Australia.Proficiency in Power Systems Analysis tools PSSE, and PSCAD.Python scripting knowledge.Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting to the client.Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with clients.Ability to work independently to solve complex tasks.A team player with a proactive attitude.Familiarity with applicable standards, i.e.
IEC, IEEE.Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment.
