The opportunity: Seeking multiple Blow Moulding Operators for Afternoon Shifts 2pm-10pm & Night Shifts 10pm-6am at their Ingleburn plan t. This is a permanent full-time position working, Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of blow moulding machines to ensure the production of high-quality plastic products to meet customers' requirements.
Further to this your key responsibilities will include: Set up and calibrate blow moulding machines according to specifications Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting of equipment and report any foreseeable issues.
Monitor, inspect and adjusting machine settings as required to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste and conduct quality checks on finished products.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or issues.
Maintain and ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
What you will bring to the team: You will have minimum of 2 years' experience, operating machinery within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
PET processing/operating blow moulding machinery experience would be highly advantageous.
You will be a reliable team player, with a strong work ethic.
You are self-motivated with a proactive approach and processes a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
Along with the following: High level of mechanical aptitude is essential, and a trade background is a bonus.
Blow Moulding machinery experience.
Quality control and defect analysis- You will have good attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
Proven ability to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.
Proficient computer skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills Ideally a fork lift licence Previous experience in Die Setting and Printing is also looked favourably upon.
